My blue agapanthus are beginning their new bloom season, and this one is the first to start.
This year, I found these plants start much earlier. In the past it was normally late March early April when these plants came into full bloom.
But my dwarf one - PeterPan - has bloomed all "winter" and now looks like it's resting.
I really love agapanthus and it was among the very first plants at Tuysonvien. Their color is so relaxing. I really look forward to their full show in the next few weeks.

I just LOVE those agapanthus. What wonderful color. Do they bloom very long?
Yes, I don't remember exacly how long, but I think I have them for about a month or two; especially when they're budding 'in stages' (i.e. one buds after another). And they are so easy on me... no TLC required except for a shower everyday in the dry season.
How's the weather today in your garden?
4 degrees outside right now. Brrrrr!
My agapanthus plants stayed green until sometime in February, when a hard freeze turned them an ugly tan color. Brave sprouts put out, to get nipped back again.
We just had 3 nights of below freezing temps; I hope tonight begins an upward climb. I'm tired of winter weather. I look forward to agapanthus blossoms.
My agapanthus are blue, I think the nursery said A. africanus. I'm hoping the division will start them growing. They were potbound when I bought them. I probably should have divided them then.
I want a nice full row of beautiful plants like yours. Maybe next year.
