The rose arch

Are you weary of cold and gloomy days? Let's look at this rose arch.

There are hundreds of buds and blooms on the arch these days thanks to the severe prunning that we did to it a few weeks back.

The rose is a NOID one. Not that I forgot its name but in here, you don't rarely have the correct botanical name for any plant.

But who care if you have such beauty!

Lovely lovely pink roses. I can practically smell their fragrance! Do they bloom only in spring or do they rebloom later?

Hi,
I just found your blog a few days back and am so happy I did. The rose arch is very beautiful. I too have a rose creeper but there are no roses? Any special tips? How far do you prune the rose plant?

Thanks
Patricia

Kris, this rose variety re-blooms whenever they put out new growths on their own or with my "helping" :-)

Patricia: I usually cut the branches all the way back, leaving only two-three leaf nodes. I learnt they would grow thicker stems and look more compact that way.
Oh, BTW, thanks for visiting my blog, Pat.

I love your cottage home and the English garden. And the bicycle in the foreground make the photo looks like a scene from a manga. Beautiful!!!
