Azaleas

Azaleas seem to be one of the easy plants to grow in Tuysonvien, where temperature is always cool. I have a few of the plants of different colors.

I grow azaleas in grounded tree fern. They like this medium and bloom for me all the year round, unlike their counterparts in the US who only bloom once a year.

Hello Ha Xuan, thanks for your advice on my Bill.

This post reminded me about Azalea indica (Rhododendron simsii) that I saw at a nursery. I regretted not buying it. Yours shown here have different bloom structure but as pretty! And glad to know that they grace your garden all year round ;-D

Year-round blooming azaleas! Lucky you, Ha Xuan! We are suffering through a heatwave this week (upwards of 100 degree!) and gardening has not been on my to do list...except the constant watering. Hope you are having a wonderful summer! ;)

Thank you, Lynn. I hope the heatwave won't damage your garden.

Stephanie: I'm glad that we grow almost the same kinds of plant so that we can share tips.
