Rangoon creeper season

All my rangoon creeper vines are in full bloom these days.
This is the one in Dalat.

And this is the one in Saigon.

When the blooms first open in the wee hours of the morning, they are white. But eventually when the sun reaches them, they turn a darker pink.

In the evening, rangoon creeper blooms give off a very pleasant smell. In early morning, the smell becomes milder but still very sweet.
Our morning coffees seems to be more delicious thanks to the fragrance of this blooming vine.

What a lovely bloom.
I often enjoy this plant - they only thing is that they grow wildly everywhere and difficult to keep them in check in small garden area.

You're right, James. The plant "creeps" all over place. We had to actually dig up and throw away many unwanted sprouts.

Sipping coffee with some nice frangrance in the air... that's so cool! The ambience of your garden is a pretty one. These blooms can stay really long, so enjoy the wonderful sight and smell of the flowers!
